When coaching with Eric was brought to my attention, I wondered if I would feel comfortable with not knowing the person I was going to be dealing with, particularly if our personalities didn’t mesh. It turns out that our personalities aren’t really totally aligned with one another, but I’ve found that that actually helps. It gives me a different perspective and helps me think a little bit more from the perspective of how some of my employees think, and it helps me through some of the communication obstacles I encounter.
Understanding yourself and your style has a lot to do with how you lead your people and how you can engage with them. Eric has helped me better understand myself so that I can be a better leader for my people.
